Bringing their expertise in refinishing original 1911 pistols turnbull manufacturing is now creating replacement parts for these classic firearms. Reproduction front sights are available as a round or square style post. The older round post was used on colt 1911 pistols from serial numbers 1 to 700 000 (circa 1919). Between serial numbers 701 000 to 893 000 the front sights were modified to the square style for a more secure fit to the slide. Steel construction with a blued finish.
